The Department was established in 2014 and is among the seven departments in the Faculty of Earth and Environmental Sciences. At inception, the department chiefly offered a bachelor degree in Environmental Management with an option to specialize in Toxicology. However, in addition to the undergraduate courses, the department currently has an active pool of postgraduate courses, ranging from a Postgraduate Diploma, Professional Masters, and Academic Masters and up to a terminal PhD. We offer a wide variety of over 150 different courses at both undergraduate and post-graduate levels. We have very experienced academics and researchers trained in various parts of the world providing support to our students.
Our doors are always wide open to all especially prospective students, researchers and collaborators that will mutually benefit our teaching and research endeavors.
